About Ms. Reyer

Shea Reyer

I attended Onslow County Schools from 3rd grade through high school.  I went to Coastal Carolina Community College and received an Associate in Arts degree.  I then attended UNCW to receive my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education K-6.  Since graduating from UNCW, I have added Teaching Math Grades 6-9, AIG Grades K-12, and Teaching Reading Grades K-12 to my license.  I also graduated from ECU with a Masters Degree in Instructional Technology.  I enjoy learning and strive to stay on top of the newest and best ways to teach my students.

I have worn many hats while working in Onslow County Schools.  I started as a Title I Reading Tutor. I was a teacher assistant for 6 years and then taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades for the next 5 years.  I was a Reading Specialist and now work as an AIG Specialist.  I enjoy my job and see it as a challenge to make education fun and meaningful for my students.
